Can you believe it?! Thanksgiving week is here already! It is a time to be thankful and cherish your loved ones. At Inward Fitness, we are not only here to get your bodies get into shape. Total mind and body wellness are both important. So, this holiday season really reflect on what you are thankful for. There is so much to be thankful for. We have two tasks for you this Thanksgiving week. Are you ready?
First, we would like you to make a list of 5 things you are thankful for. Yes, grab a pen and paper, and write it down! This can be something as small as being thankful for good weather, or something has big as the health of your family! Really take the time. Be intentional. Have gratitude.
Secondly, come to our 4th Annual Huff Before You Stuff, Thursday 24th 8:30-9:00 a.m.! You know you wanna!
Okay, okay we know! You have a turkey in the oven, and pies ready to bake. Not everyone can make it to the party! Have no fear, this year we are sending you a workout that you can do right at home in between turkey basting! Now that is definitely something you can be thankful for!
Without further ado, here is your full body workout to excuse that second slice of pie (a la mode) you’re about to devour (no judging)!
20 Jump Squats
20 Table Top Crunches
20 Switch Lunges
20 Leg Raises
20 Burpees (w/ the push-up if want the extra-large scoop of mash potatoes!)
20 Toe Touches
20 Pulse Squats
20 V-Ups (modify to single leg v-ups if needed)
3-5 rounds (depending of the amount of time you have)
Plank to Push-Up – 10 per side
Side Plank Dips – 15 per side
Plank Side to Sides (Hip Dips) – 50 dips total
2-3 rounds (also depending on your time)
This Thanksgiving take the time to count your blessings. We want to remind you to NOT feel guilty about how much you eat. One day of eating and spending time with your loved ones is totally worth it! Pick up your goals on Friday morning, they’ll still be there. And your workout will be powered by turkey, mashed potatoes, and you guessed it PIE! Happy Thanksgiving!
